Baseline creation for time based analysis
A baseline pipe inspection provides three dimensional data for sewer asset management and inventory purposes while evaluating conformance with plans, joint integrity, and pipe deformity. The baseline information for the pipe inspection is also significant in that it allows analysis and visualization of changes within a pipe over time.
Post Pipe Installation Scope Verification
Responder can verify a pipe installation to make sure that the pipe is ready for service and that specifications have been met. The laser sensor can be used to determine the pipe’s meander and incline, as well as any eccentricity, poorly joined sections, or other construction defects. Post pipe installation data also serves as a baseline for future pipe inspections.
