Sensors

RedZone deploys up to 6 sensors simultaneously on its robotic platforms and enabling it to perform a comprehensive and precise pipe inspection.

Sonar 

Provides location and volume of sediment and debris by measuring the inside pipe diameter and comparing to the as-built diameter.

Features:

• Operates at multiple frequencies from 650 KHz to 2 MHz within pipes that are 36 inches to 21 feet in diameter
• Accurate in fully- or partially-submerged conditions
• Generates precise pipe cross-sections via dwell scan
• Used for Sonar report

3D Laser

Measures pipe inside diameter with great precision (above water line).

Features:

• Unique spinning configuration
• Generates 3D color images of pipe inside surface
• Used for 3D Laser report

Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)

Measures location of robot in 3D space (pitch, roll & yaw).

Features:

• Accelerometers and gyroscopes
• Location and movement used by other sensors 
• Used for Meander and Incline report

H2S Gas Analyzer & Temperature

Measures hydrogen sulfide gas - H2S and temperature.

Features:

• Measures H₂S concentration to 1 ppm
• Also measures temperature to 1 degree
• Used for H₂S Gas report
   

CCTV Pipe Inspection

Measures visual defects.

Features:

• 24 frames per second video capture
• 0.6 Mega-pixels per frame
• Coded to PACP or WRC standards
• Used for CCTV report
