Mechanical attachments currently integrated onto the
Responder Platform
The versatile design of the Responder platform allows for the attachment
of various pipe inspection technologies, including sensors and mechanical devices.
Sensor attachments record information on the robot environment and pipe condition.
This data is stored for post processing, analysis, and reporting. The Responder can
monitor over 15 different sensors simultaneously on a single inspection run, eliminating
the need for multiple deployments, and automatically synchronizes the recorded
data to pipe location. Mechanical attachments are used for advanced pipe
inspection and to perform work in the pipe. Like a skid steer loader or an
excavator, the Responder utilizes a standard mechanical interface to attach
various devices.

Sonar Sewer Profiling

Active 3D Laser Scanning
